Siemens – Gamesa going to play seriously at the Russian wind power market.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy CEO Markus Tacke emphasized the fact of re-entering to the Russian Wind Energy Market by the company, during his interview on Q’3 2017 financial year results. Also, he predicted the overall market growth of the company by 8% in the next three years.

The company operates on the Russian wind energy market together with the investor – the Italian energy utility Enel, whose Russian unit has won a volume of 290 MW at the June wind energy tender. Winners of the tender gets a contract (LTCA) for the sale of all the electricity produced by the wind farm for 15 years at a special price for a capacity, which allows them to recoup investments in the period from 6 to 8 years.
