15-ton blades were unloaded 18th of May in a cargo river port for the construction of the wind farm in Ulyanovsk region. There will be build the first in the country wind farm. The investor of the project was the international company Fortum (member of RAWI). Opening of the first phase of the project will take place in the second half of 2017. At the site of the wind farm will be mounted 14 wind generators with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. The total capacity of the wind farm will be 35 MW. Wind generators supplied by Chinese company DongFang participating at Installation and commissioning.
